The Funeral Service Institute for Public Policies started in 2021 as a foundation dedicated to enhancing the funeral industry public policies, mortuary student and apprentices support, and funeral home management. It plays a major role in the funeral industry businesses and organizations as it coordinates planning, organizing, controlling, and directing resources. The foundation offers tools for successful management and provides successful results for managers, Funeral Directors, and Embalmers will receive necessary skills to utilize efficient management skills. The Foundation is the benevolent arm of the National Funeral Directors and Morticians Association. (NFDMA). Its members work closely with the National Funeral Directors Mortuary Scholarship Foundation to provide scholarships within the funeral industry. The foundational aspects of the Funeral Service Institute for Public Policies include both judicial interpretations and regulations which are generally authorized by legislation within the funeral industry.
